Crawford County Comprehensive Planning Welcome to the Crawford County Comprehensive Planning webpage. This page is intended to keep you informed on the planning process. Please visit this site regularly to view comprehensive plan meeting dates, agendas and minutes, read the latest updates and chapters of the plan, view survey results, and provide input as the plan is developed. The Crawford County Planning Subcommittee, a division of the Land Conservation Planning and Zoning Committee, is responsible for preparing Crawford County’s Comprehensive Plan. The plan will meet the state’s requirement that jurisdictions using zoning, subdivision regulation or official mapping have an adopted plan in place by January 2010. The Crawford County Comprehensive Planning Sub-Committee meets every third Wednesday of the month at 7:30 PM the Crawford County Highway Building just south of Seneca, Wisconsin. A Compressive Plan is a document that describes a community’s long term vision for the future. The plan describes what is currently happening in a community, what residents want the community to look like in 5-10 years, and how they intend to make it happen.
