Update 4/18/2012: The
Crawford County Board of Supervisors has approved an ordinance
creating a 6-month moratorium on the acceptance of any new frac sand
mining permit applications.

Update
2/21/2012:: The Crawford
County Board of Supervisors has approved a change to the county's
Animal Waste Storage Ordinance. Farms looking to construct a
new manure storage structure must be permitted if the volume of the
pit is more than 7,000 cubic feet, or holds more than 30 days of
storage, whichever is less.
